I am a girl who LOVES to decorate for Holidays – specifically Halloween and Christmas. I am not sure what happens to me with Valentines Day…. but I always totally drop the ball! Don’t get me wrong, I always bake some serious goodies with my kiddies, but my decorating skillz go out the window.
I made my biggest effort in years (so sad really) and added a little love to my bedroom nightstand!
My nightstand was pretty boring to begin with… my poor and totally ignored bedroom…
Take Note: I am so lazy about this room that my picture frame doesn’t eve have a picture in it.
I did paint my walls a lovely Sherwin Williams color called Storm Cloud. I love the color but I am not such a fan of the way the somewhat shiny finish in the paint brings out the texture in my walls…. which I hate. I also have plans to paint this nightstand with ASCP Paris Gray… I have the paint. Just need to get unlazy and do it!
Take Note: No, the Hubby and I do not dress like that normally. No, the Hubby does not have a Pet Owl. We were dressed as Harry and Hermione from Harry Potter one Halloween. It was great – loved that Halloween! As we were walking up to the party, a kid that lived next door ran in his house yelling “Mom it’s Harry Potter. It’s Harry Potter. He’s in front of our House”. The Hubby actually did look a lot like Harry!
Maybe by next Valentines I can find my decorating LOVE mojo!!
Here is some LOVE I found this morning.
I am a regular reader of Chelsea’s over at her 221 Blog!
She, and some other fellow Bloggers, came up with what I think was a genius and super fun idea of a Link Party along the lines of all those Ryan Gosling Memes that are so popular these days!
You know me… I am always up for some silly fun… and always up for taking the Hubby along for the ride totally against his will!
First, if you are not familiar with these Ryan Gosling memes, here are a few….

Ohemgeee…. so funny!
Enough of Ryan… here are my Memes!

Hah! I wish my husband would actively engage in conversations pertaining to HGTV, Home Goods, blogging, and shades of colors. ;) These were hilarious! And your peppermint patty brownies look delicious!
